We are currently seeking a motivated professional to join our team of industry experts as our Marketing Administrator.

Wilson Albers & Company requires a hardworking, action-driven, and exceptionally organized individual to engage marketing strategies and administration over our multiple departments. With over 80 years' combined experience providing professional services to businesses both in Anchorage, AK and Tacoma, WA, Wilson Albers & Company has a complex marketing structure and roles that require intermediate organizational skills. This position would be charged with administrative duties supporting our Business Development, Health & Welfare, Financial, and Human Resources divisions.

The Marketing Administrator owns the day-to-day administration of our marketing programs, would report directly to our President and CEO, and is responsible for providing technical, administrative, research, project management and event coordination support to multiple divisions. This individual is also the primary liaison to our external marketing resources currently engaged and would provide strategic and creative support.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday office position. Professional dress and decorum is a must, this position is often representing the company at events and with the public.

 

Core Responsibilities

This position will need to maintain a strong comprehension of the company's marketing strategy and brand objectives in order to properly support multi-division programs, events, campaigns, and proposals.

The Marketing Administrator would serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact and relationship manager with all external marketing partners, vendors, to include United Benefits Advisors (UBA) and agencies engaged to provide strategic and creative support.

Providing general client (external) and internal communications to support multiple divisions, Human Resources, Culture/Wellness Committees, and as directed.

Coordinate with external marketing resources to develop and maintain proposal templates and processes. Ensure all resources are WAC brand compliant.

Support Marketing Strategy

Maintain a strong understanding of the company's marketing strategy and brand objectives and support execution across a broad range of marketing-related activities. May be called upon to provide input to help shape evolving marketing strategy with the Business Development Lead, Division Directors, and CEO.

Serve as the primary administrator for all company social medical channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.) Provide day-to-day management of social media content related to the company and its services, industry and thought leadership trends.

Continually monitor social media sites, news media, client surveys, and other sources of information to assess the company's market image. Provides reports and analyses to management, with a primary focus on managing the online reputation of Wilson Albers & Company.

 

Event Coordination, Project Management, Proposal Support

Coordinating management of marketing-related projects with external resources and internal participants, to include ensuring a shared understanding of project schedules and deliverables as documents in the master marketing calendar.

Manage proposal projects, to include developing project schedules and overseeing execution with the project team. Provide content development support for proposals, to include basic copyrighting and graphics, style input, and proofreading. Coordinate with external resources for more advanced creative and stylistic support.

Coordinate with external marketing resources with regard to strategic and campaign-related content and presentation updates. Channel incoming leads to business development and other division staff.

 

Conduct Market Research

Research industry, company, geographic, client, prospect, and other data for use in developing targeted marketing campaigns, analyzing the effectiveness of same, identifying trends, and other sales and marketing efforts.

Experience, Education, and Other Requirements

Developing the competencies above typically involves formal education and real-world experience. At minimum, we are looking for at least two years of hands-on experience in a marketing-related role, candidates who hold a bachelor's degree in marketing or related field from an accredited institution are preferred. Substantial work experience of three to five years in marketing and related fields will be considered.

Because of travel by vehicle and access to sensitive client and internal information, we require you have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, and pass a background check.
